Как только все с велосипеда не работает, я решаю, стоит ли вообще его чинить. Старайтесь не тратить много времени на велосипед, если он маргинальный. Есть много велосипедов, и хотя сентиментальность и история помогают сдвинуть границу, вам все равно нужно быть избирательным.

Работайте над каждой подсистемой по очереди. То есть я бы сделал ББ идеальным, а потом пошел бы к чудакам. Затем заднее колесо, кассета, переключатели, цепь.

Всегда чистите вещи перед тем, как над ними работать. С чистым велосипедом работать приятнее. Так что сначала делайте грязные детали - это трансмиссия, ступицы, прокачка колес и т. Д.

Оставьте детали отделки до позже. Седло, штырь, отражатели, внутренние кабели для тормозов / переключателей и тормоза находятся в конце последовательности.

Наконец, проверьте велосипед. Вы должны покататься на ней несколько минут, сначала медленно, а затем набрать скорость, проверить тормоза и переключиться.

Через 4-6 недель вам захочется настроить и тормоза, и кабели переключения - они останавливаются при использовании.
